Are You Selling The Right Thing?
You hear it all the time! Hi, my name is (fill in the blank) and you need to join my opportunity (fill in the blank) we have the best xyz product (or unbeatable compensation plan). This opportunity is the greatest thing since sliced bread.
Well here’s a news flash for you, selling your product is not your business (while product is important for repeat sales, it is not your business) and getting people into your opportunity is not your business either.
Your product is your marketing system and selling it to promoters is your goal. Remember those who market best win! Period!
You sell your marketing system to potential promoters and the system sells the products offered by the opportunity – the marketing system does not sell the business opportunity!
Potential promoters look for a system (and leader) that will deliver consistent, predictable results. As that leader, your role is to:
- Market a system to promoters that sells company products with consistent, reliable results.
- Teach distributors leadership and marketing skills to use the system and allow them to become leaders and in turn market the system to other promoters, building their business while doing so.
Doing that for just 5-10 leaders on your team will set you on your way to financial freedom. And it’s not that hard to do – just help others and you will grow – quickly.
You need two things to succeed (one you can learn and the other must come from within):
- A true desire to help others
- Marketing skills
